Artist Biography:

Angelo Burgoyne was born in 1970 in Cummins, South Australia.
He is a descendant from a lineage of the Stolen Generation ancestry, and feels a strong connection with
this background, and with his traditional homelands.

He began painting his narrative images of family Dreaming stories 10 years ago, and then progressed
stylistically to his present strong contemporary iconic imagery of “water” and rain in the desert”
Dreaming.

Judda now lives in Alice Springs with his large and extended family, and fellow artist wife. He is a
contemporary emerging artist, and is featured in a number of local and regional galleries. His works are
popular, and have attracted art collectors and buyers overseas and from Australian capitals.
