Norah was born in Willowra, (1948) and began painting in the late 1980’s, depicting Dreaming stories from her traditional country.

Some of these stories include Goanna and Bush Onion.  She has also been involved in doing womens ceremonial paintings - Awelye Dreaming, Womens Body Painting.

Nora’s comments are basic and general only, because the patterns on this artwork represent aspects of womens ceremonial bodypainting.  The vertical lines tell the story of the ceremony.
