Artist Biography:
Denis is related to the Jakamarra / Tjakamarra family, and has followed in the Papunya Tula tradition of art. He has been taught to paint his Dreaming stories, Water Dreaming, (since his early teens), by his father, well known artist, Michael Nelson Jagamarra.
He has been a teaching in Community Schools, and intermittently, interprets for legal organisations in Alice Springs.
