Artist Biography:

Maureen Mulda is a respected senior artist, working with Tangentyere Artists, Alice Springs.

She has been painting “Town Camp Life” which depicts  contemporary day-to-day life and images in the town camps around Alice Springs.  The town camps have been housing approximately 1600 indigenous local residents, as well visitors from a wide range of remote communities from Central Australia.
She has been a Telstra Indiginous Arts Award finalist
Her works have been creating significant interest, and have been collected and featured in local and interstate galleries.
